Dr. med. Sergej Popovich
Dr. med. Popovich is a radiologist and mammologist. He lives and works in Hamburg, Germany. With over 10 years of experience, he specializes in early diagnosis of breast cancer. Currently, he serves as the chief physician of the mammology department at the Evidia Diagnostic Center. Dr. Popovich's clinical work focuses on early diagnosis of breast cancer, screening, mammography, ultrasound, MRI of the breast, as well as all types of biopsies. He participates in the weekly review of preoperative clinical cases at the Tumorboard, an interdisciplinary conference involving oncologists, surgeons, pathologists, and radiation therapists. Additionally, with a second degree from Universitaetsklinikum Dusseldorf, MBA, Dr. Popovich works as a healthcare manager. He is an active expert in the certification system of diagnostic centers OnkoZert, the author of the book "Mammologicum: A Multidisciplinary Approach to the Diagnosis and Treatment of Breast Cancer," and the creator of the Patient School Mammologicum and Mammologicum Education project.
