User Agreement

Please carefully read this user agreement (hereinafter the "Agreement") before using the "Patient School" platform (hereinafter the "Platform"). This Agreement regulates your rights and responsibilities as a user of the Platform and establishes the terms of use of the provided services.

  • 1. Definitions

1.1. "Platform" - an online resource that provides materials and resources for independent study of information about breast cancer, as well as the opportunity to receive remote consultations from doctors.

1.2. "User" - an individual or legal entity that has registered on the Platform and uses its services.

  • 2. Terms of Use

2.1. The User undertakes to use the Platform in compliance with the current legislation of the Federal Republic of Germany and this Agreement.

2.2. The User is responsible for the confidentiality of their account data and agrees not to transfer their account or login credentials to third parties.

2.3. The User agrees to provide accurate and truthful information during registration and while using the Platform.

  • 3. Provision of Information and Consultations

3.1. The Platform provides access to materials related to breast cancer for independent study. This information is not medical advice and cannot replace a consultation with a medical specialist.

3.2. The Platform also offers the possibility to receive remote consultations from licensed medical professionals. These consultations may include paid services, the cost of which is determined by the Platform.

  • 4. Payment and Service Cost

4.1. Some services provided on the Platform may be subject to charges. The cost of such services is specified on the Platform. The User agrees to pay the service fee in accordance with the established rates.

4.2. The Platform has the right to change the rates and the cost of services with prior notification to users.

4.3. Payments can be made through the available payment methods specified on the Platform.

  • 5. Confidentiality

5.1. The Platform undertakes to maintain the confidentiality of medical and personal information of users in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

5.2. The User agrees that their medical and personal information may be used for providing consultations and improving the quality of services.

  • 6. Intellectual Property

6.1. All materials on the Platform (including texts, images, videos, etc.) are protected by copyright. The User agrees not to violate copyright and not to use materials without permission.

  • 7. Liability

7.1. The Platform is not responsible for the results of independent study of materials on the Platform and decisions made based on them.

7.2. Remote consultations provided by doctors through the Platform represent their personal opinions and recommendations. The Platform is not responsible for the results of such consultations.

  • 8. Changes and Updates

8.1. The Platform has the right to make changes to the terms of this Agreement. Users will be notified of such changes.

  • 9. Termination of Platform Use

9.1. The User can stop using the Platform at any time by deleting their account.

  • 10. Final Provisions

10.1. This Agreement is a legal document that regulates the relationship between the Platform and its users.

10.2. All disputes and disagreements arising from this Agreement are resolved in accordance with the current legislation of the Federal Republic of Germany.
